FRIDAY DAY 1 - WELCOME TO VENICE

Check in in one of our partner hostels located in the center of Venice. Check in time is at 2.00pm but if you arrive earlier feel free to leave your things at the luggage storage at the reception. At 5:00pm meet our guide at the reception for an orientation walk through the city to explore St. Mark's Square and learn about Doge's Palace, Bell Tower, Clock Tower and the famous Bridge of sighs. We will continue to explore the narrow alleways, bridges and canals following the Calle (streets) and Camops (squares) of Venice throught the Rialto area towards the Rialto Bridge while learning about the city, its architecture, traditions and lifestyle.

 

SATURDAY DAY 2 – CARNIVAL

Spend the whole day on your own to enjoy the world's most famous event in Venice: Carnival!

Get your own mask and experience what Venice was in the 18th century! Wander among the narrow streets of Venice and discover beautifully costumed mask-wearing people roaming and posing, enjoy the performances of street artists entertaining Carnival's guests and take part to the numerous parades, parties, balls that the city offers during these days. St Mark’s Square is the fulcrum of Carnival activities, and that’s where you’ll find the most extraordinary costumes, a spectacular backdrop for your pictures! Make the day even more special with a 30 mins gondola ride through the canals.

 

SUNDAY DAY 3– CHECK OUT

 

On the third day, unfortunately you will have to leave your room by 10am. However, feel free to store your bags in the luggage room of the accommodation if you want to continue exploring the lagoon of Venice. On your last day you could take a hald day tour to visit the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello islands.
